PERENCANAAN STRATEGIS SISTEM INFORMASI DAN TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI PADA DINAS PERPUSTAKAAN DAN KEARSIPAN KABUPATEN TIMOR TENGAH UTARA MENGGUNAKAN MERODE WARD AND PEPPARD

Abstract

The North Central Timor Regency Library and Archives Service is a government agency engaged in the field of libraries and archives. Information systems and information technology are a means to achieve success in supporting the success of the government's vision and mission to realize digital era governance. However, currently the business processes at the Library and Archives Service are not all supported by the use of information systems and information technology, so that the performance process has not been running effectively and efficiently. Therefore we need a strategic planning of information systems and information technology that is good and well planned. The purpose of this research is to produce a planning portfolio of information systems and information technology at the North Central Timor Regency Library and Archives Service which is in line with the vision, mission and objectives of the service. This study uses the Ward and Peppard method approach which consists of a SWOT analysis used to evaluate internal and external factors by looking at the main strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in the agency, Value Chain analysis, PEST and McFarlan Strategic Grid. The expected results of this research are recommendations for information systems and information technology needs that can assist agencies in making strategic policy decisions to achieve competitive advantage.
