Abstract

GERD anxiety is stomach acid that rises due to a person experiencing anxiety. Basically, psychological problems such as stress and anxiety are risk factors for GERD itself. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease Anxiety (GERD Anxiety) and Diet in Computer Science students. Provide knowledge to students about the importance of regular eating patterns and good thinking in order to avoid Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease Anxiety (GERD Anxiety). This research is an observational analytical descriptive study by collecting data through the results of filling out questionnaires by the subject as many as 60 respondents using a diet questionnaire that has been validated and modified by the researcher and using the Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease Questionnaire (GERDQ). The test used correlation analysis of sperm rank and univariate analysis. The results of this study are 34 respondents with a good eating pattern with a presentation value of 56.7%, while for respondents with a bad diet there are 26 people with a 43.3% presentation value, for respondents with No Gerd Anxiety category there are 22 people with the presentation value is 36.7%, while for respondents with Gerd Anxiety there are 38 people with a presentation of 63.3%, using the Sperman rank correlation test with SPSS and manual hypothesis testing, the results obtained are the sig value between eating patterns and GerdQ of 0.000, and the correlation coefficient is 0.644 with = 0.005, for the Z test the results obtained with the value of Zcount = 3.14 and the value of Ztable = 1.96, where 3.14> 1.96, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, then the basis decision making is that there is a strong significant relationship between eating patterns and the incidence of GERD anxiety.
