SISTEM INFORMASI PARIWISATA PADA DINAS PARIWISATA DAN EKONOMI KREATIF PROVINSI NUSA TENGGARA TIMUR BERBASIS WEB

Abstract

Tourism is one of the largest industries in the world, which is a major contributor to job creation, stimulates  exports  and  improves  living  standards.  Nationally,  the  role  of  the  tourism  sector  is increasingly important in line with the development and contribution made by the tourism sector through foreign exchange earnings, regional income,  regional development,  as well as in the absorption of investment and labor and business development spread across various regions in Indonesia. In response to this, the Tourism and Creative Economy Office of East Nusa Tenggara Province already has a website to promote tourism, but it is considered inadequate and not up to standard by the STIKOM Uyelindo Kupang Internship Team, which in the end built a new web-based information system. The problem faced in this research is how to design and implement a web-based information system that is in accordance with the Dissemination of Website Management activities for the Tourism and Creative Economy Office of the Province of NTT which provides input and suggestions about the information system that has been built  in  order  to  further  improve  tourism  promotion  and  help  the  community  and  tourists.  to  get information  online.  The  research  procedure  used  in  this  study  is  the  Waterfall  concept  software engineering development process model. The result of the research is a web-based information system that can facilitate and improve tourism promotion in East Nusa Tenggara Province.
