E-LIBRARY PADA SMK NEGERI 3 KUPANG BERBASIS WEB MENGGUNAKAN METODE WATERFALL

The school library as one of the educational facilities supporting learning activities has an important role in achieving educational goals. At SMK Negeri 3 Kupang the role of the library is to help students find subject matter references for the theoretical page given by the teacher. The activities of borrowing books and making membership cards at the library are still done manually, thus requiring more time and energy. To support the lending system, the author built a web-based e-library so that the process of borrowing and making membership cards can be done anywhere and anytime. This study aims to build an e-library at SMK Negeri 3 Kupang web-based using the Waterfall method. The stages that are passed in this method are the requirements stage, the design stage, the implementation stage, the verification stage, and the maintenance stage. This e-library was created using PHP, HTML as script, MySQL as database and ERD as data structure modeling. Then data was collected using observation, literature study and interviews related to e-library at SMK Negeri 3 Kupang. The results of the e-library design are realized in the form of a web-based e-library program at SMK Negeri 3 Kupang.
