PENENTUAN MAHASISWA PENERIMA BEASISWA MENGGUNAKAN METODE PROMETHEE (STUDI KASUS STIKOM UYELINDO KUPANG)

The number of students who receive scholarships from the government and educational foundation foundations is increasing every year. The policy of determining the acceptance of scholarships at each university is different. But in general, study programs issue a list of student names and are selected by the student field with criteria that have been determined in accordance with applicable regulations. The problem that arises is that the determination of scholarship recipients is not carried out objectively due to family considerations, friendship, or other closeness by the selection committee. This has resulted in dissatisfaction or disappointment from the parties involved in decision making and scholarship recipient participants. In this study a scholarship recipient's decision making system was developed using the promothee method. Determination of scholarship recipients is determined by the criteria that provide decisions objectively by the machine that implemented the decision making application. The results of this study are expected to be able to minimize fraud or non-neutral decision making from parties involved in determining scholarship recipients.
