PENGEMBANGAN E-HEALTH MOBILE AGENT UNTUK MONITORING IMUNISASI BALITA

Abstract

Children are very valuable children for their parents because children will replace them later. That is why children are often referred to as the nation's successors. As the successor to a quality nation, children must have a healthy condition both physically, mentally and socially. Only in this way can the successors of this nation benefit the nation and state. To achieve this, prevention efforts are needed through an immunization program, in addition to treating it immediately when they are sick. Various studies show that the success of immunization efforts to fight infectious diseases has saved human lives more than any other health program except the provision of clean water. Immunization is giving the baby immunity by injection or drip to prevent the baby from getting sick or even if the illness does not get worse. The benefit is that the baby is immune to diseases that should be prevented by immunization. In general, parents record the type of vaccine the child has received and also the immunization schedule manually on the calendar, the Card to Health (KMS), or the medical control card. This can be a problem if parents are unable to remember the child's immunization schedule and also what types of vaccines have been given to children. Based on the above problem, the authors built a child immunization monitoring application that can be used as a guideline for monitoring immunization in children, especially toddlers. The application records the types of vaccines that have been and will be given to children along with the immunization schedule. The application is equipped with immunization reminder features and is made with the php programming language, mysql database and can be used independently by parents and health workers using a mobile device, whenever and wherever it is.
