PENENTUAN LARVA TIRAM MUTIARA TERBAIK SEBAGAI PENGHASIL MUTIARA UNGGUL DENGAN LOGIKA FUZZY

The rapid development of information technology in recent years has penetrated into various areas of life in the field of pearl industry. Nusa Nenggara Timur province is one of the pearl producing areas, one of which is managing by PT. Timor Otsuki Pearl. The problem encountered in this research is the difficulty of determining the larva in a container or place of maintenance so that the authors offer solutions by applaying information technology to facilitate employees in the selection of the best larva. The purpose of this research is to make the best larva dertermination system. Pearl oyster larva as the object that determines the quality of pearls. Variables used to facilitate the system to be made is shells, dorsal and condition (the contents of the stomach). The method used is fuzzy logic, the solution by using fuzzy inference system (fuzzy inference system or fis) system used is FIS Mamdani which consists of defuzzification, inference, composition and defuzzification stage, rule or output result that is less, good and very good, Expected results can help employees. Accuracy value results reach 72%.
